With the same like Google. You can get the back links with the forum posting, blog commenting, article submission, directory submission and many more SEO techniques.

If you manage to get some links which can affect your web ranks on Google, probably the same packs of links will help your site on Yahoo as well. Search engines usually have crawling systems which are similar to each other and if there are packs of links pointing at your website and they are on pages which are easy to reach by people as well as search engines, both Yahoo and Google will find and credit the votes and bundles of links.

In some cases even when links are found and counted by search engines, some differences in ranks and web reporting systems might be observed. For example, your rankings on Google may improve fast but you may not still be very satisfied with your Yahoo listings and positions. Links which are powered by the right anchors and come from relevant sources will gradually improve your web ranks on Yahoo plus other search portals.

for increasing pagerank of your website, you need to concentrate on google backlinks. Yahoo backlinks only help you to increase your search engine ranking but if you are looking for google pagerank then go with google link building process.

It's a simple way for getting yahoo backlinks. Do quality link buildings for our websites like a blog commenting, Forum posing, Article submission on high PR.
