Ya you can get backlinks form Yahoo answers but you have to give right and reasonable answer otherwise you will be blocked.

Yahoo answer is the best way of getting back links and for that you have to give the best and right answer.

Of-course you can as yahoo answers are nofollow but as far as I have seen the effect of nofollow links in yahoo I've found that Yahoo gives importance to nofollow as well.

Yeah, you can gain backlinks from yahoo answers but you will need to give reasonable answers.

yahoo answer is one of the best way of getting backlink .... and also it is considered a strong backlink...most of the use yahoo answers for the same reason only....

Yahoo Answers help you only to divert relevant and quality traffic to your site. The links you place in Yahoo answers are no follow and they can't be considered as backlinks for your site.

steps.
1.Go to yahoo answers link.
2.create a new account
3.sign in yahoo answers
4.find unsolved question (which are not relevent to your catagory)
5.Post 20-25 Answer on daily basis (without put your website link)
6.In 4-5 day, when you post round about 100 answers.
7.Create a new account
8.use this account to post new question
9.Post 15-25 new question from your new yahoo account
10.Put your website link and your keyword in these ques.
11.But these questions must be unique
12.Answer these questions from your old yahoo account.
13.use diffrent IP for post question and answer.
