Post Optimizing for yahoo

Yahoo is one of the best search engines after Google, so it is very important to ensure that Yahoo is giving your site a good rank, because a site that is well optimized for Yahoo will also rank well in other search engines.

There are a few differences between Yahoo and other search engines such as Google. It looks that Yahoo places more value on number of back links than the content from the page, so, an established site with a lot of incoming links, getting a good ranking on Yahoo can come naturally.

Wow, I don't know that I though that Yahoo is more keyword density than linkbuilding.

Though most are aware of the difference between Yahoo and Google or other search engines, but I guess there will always be some using one they are just got used to.So for some people it will always be only Yahoo.

Keep your title tag as short as 5 small-medium sized words and include one complete incidence of your keyphrase.

Yahoo! blatantly favours sites that include the keyphrase in the title tag.

Keyword tags have long been considered ineffective and no longer have any importance on Google; however Yahoo does still consider the keyword tag so it cannot hurt to include it.

I stopped using yahoo once I found out how it's SE works. Google give you far more relevant results because it's link happy.

i have same comment like your as i also get the same quantity of traaffic through bing and the major part comes from Google but dont you think that bing is comparatively a new one than Google so it will take some time to become a popular search engine.

To receive a higher page rank in Yahoo, you can furthermore try encouraging your site more through backlinking, submitting articles to high PR sites, writing in other forums, and use of social bookmarking sites to supply more traffic, and a higher rank in Yahoo!
