Nope, yahoo don't have the PR system as Google. But it give the popularity ranking to web pages.

yahoo don't have any concept likes of PR.
Only Google calculate Page rank for a page.

That's debatable, Robdale. The overwhelming concensus lately seems to be that PR offers little to know real benefit. From what I've read, it seems to be more of a measuring tool, more or less to give you a general idea of the strength of your backlinks, which can ultimately lead to higher search engine rankings.

maybe u should first have a clear idea abt what is PR
google use pr (page rank) to rank/classify a certain site. based on its algorithm, google will determine how popular your site is by monitoring the age of your site, inbound links, traffic and content. the rankings will start from pr0 to pr10.
so yahoo has no PR thing

Yahoo has a different algorithm than Google although I think your site could rank easier in Yahoo than in Google.

I do not trust in PR as it seems only quality measure and have no direct relation with keyword rankings

no pr strategies made by google so its not applicable for all site. some site don't have high pr but they earn good money from online client. yahoo don't follow pr he has their own visitor from world wide web.

The PR of Google is 10 and PR of yahoo is 9.But yahoo doesn't consider page

rank as Google does.

Im shoked to see teveryone responses here. Yes yahoo does have a pr system it is just not made public or added to their toolbar. There are tools that allow you to see the yahoo PR such as seoquake.

Yahoo doesn't have pr system like google does. Its important to have pr for lots of traffic to your web site.
