No I believe not. Yahoo, Bing and Google has totally different ranking systems or as they are known, algorithms.

I guess this is highly debatable. I am not sure about it. However, PR gives you a fair idea about the effectiveness of your backlinks.

I'm agree to all the above mentioned. Yahoo doesn't have pr system only google has by using its google toolbar. But yahoo has a high PR of 9.

PR is a measuring tool that provides you a rough idea regarding the strength of your backlinks. With the passage of time it will increase the ranking of your website

In Yahoo, the PR system is not really applicable. Yahoo has no PR and the only who has PR is Google.

I'm not so sure about this...the goal for Google, Yahoo and Bing is to give you the most relevant search result, and they use different algorithms...
However, I wouldn't be very surprised if they all considered the use of links and backlinks, not only Google (among other things, like keywords, headings, title etc etc).
I suspect that most methods you use for increasing your pagerank in Google will also work for Yahoo and Bing (unless you use any "shady" methods trying to fool any of them)

There is little or no benefit actually offered by PR. Just the strength of the backlinks can be estimated with the help of Pagerank.

If your talking about PR tools for yahoo, yahoo doesnt have that only google, but if you're going to check the PR of yahoo, it is very good pr of 9.

It might be easier to get a site to rank well in Yahoo than Google as Yahoo has a different algorithm compared to Google. |

That's problematical, robe-de-chambre. The overwhelming conceive of recently looks to be that PR extends little to know real gain. From what I've read, it looks to be more of a measurement tool, more or less to collapse you a general thought of the intensity of your backlinks, which can finally conduct to higher search engine rankings.

Well, PR stands for Page rank that is introduced by Google in order to rank or classify a website. it is not used by Yahoo.

For all sites the whole PR thing isn’t applicable. There are some sites that make good money online but don’t have good PR.

No pr strategies made by google so its not applicable for all site. some site don't have high pr but they earn good money from online client. yahoo don't follow pr he has their own visitor from world wide web.But if you have a good PR bouth Yahoo and google see you whit good eye
