Default Would this work?

I have a campaign running and i didnt tune it at the start so my ctr has gone downhill and will be very hard to get back up.

What im wondering is:

If i tune it, (ie delete bad keywords/keywords that are not converting but having high impressions) then download the campaign then delete it, then reupload it as a new campaign.

Would that help my ctr?

I am not an expert in ppc advertising but I would think that if you fine tune your campaign properly, it can only help. But the other thing I was thinking, what do you consider "high impressions".

For instance, if a product has a conversion rate of 1 in 600 or 1 in 1000, then maybe your impressions are not that high. Check with the affiliate program manager and find out what the rate is for other affiliates. Could be, you just need to hang on.

My general rule of thumb i say if a keyword has had 500+ impressions with no clicks ill delete it, i also go through the ones that have had clicks and see if there relevant just incase a negative keyword got through somehow.

I agree with bon300187 in a case like that that key word is costing you money in the long run,
tune your keywords every three days try somthing else except the one's that are working, thats helped me out big

finding the right keywords is some thing all of us are learning every day and every day there are more and more key words being used , so the constant updating of key word dose not end
