According to my opinion flash is used to enhance the effectiveness of website and making it more impressive than current design. A correct use of flash also require brainstorming on concept which you would present with use of flash. SO if you are capable of delivering business concept through flash, it would be good to integrate it.

If u Add Flash Image then it some where effects your website page ranking when you to do Optimization after that it is difficult to increase more Traffic on your Site.So you try to make page User friendly by adding less images.

Yes off course , you want to try some new flash effects on your Wordpress Website but remain one thing in your mind that Don't add more than 5 images on your first page of your site.Because it effects your whole site ranking on Google search engine so try to make it user friendly.

In my point of view flash images are not good for getting traffic and reduce Alexa.

Flash images are not good for SEO.Thats why you should use Jquery.

I don't agree with people above. If you think, it works for you then go ahead with it. Thinking too much about seo may not get you anywhere. Genuine sites with good content, even if those have flash in it, tend to rank well. Just don't be afraid of using flash.

yes you can use flash,only the whole site designed in flash is not effective for seo but i don't think so that there is any problem with flash images.

yes using jquery can be effective, if you want to add flash animation use embed code, you can use swish max etc software
