Need help with new website

I am making a website with lot of engg tutorials in it
my website will have tutorials for different subjects at top of my web.
when i click on the tutorial subject my left side of website which contains an index of different tutorial should change depending upon the tutorial subject i choose.
Also when i click on tutorial index tutorials should get displayed on the middle
problem is i dont know how to do it
I tried using archives but they didnt changed depending upong the tutorial header i choose

So can any1 tell me how to accomplish this

I am not getting your question but your question is related to interlinking where you click one link on left side and open another page .
