HTML is used to make a static web pages on other hand side DHTML is used to make web pages dynamic.

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language whereas DHTML stand for Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language. HTML is use to create static web page while DHTML is use to create Dynamic web page. DHTML is a combination of static markup language and client side scripting languages.
