Cron job for emailing a db

I have a script installed on my hosting account which takes mysql db backups into a specified directory on a periodic basis, I was wondering if there was any script which could email those backup to my gmail account on a regular basis.

Sounds very interesting, Do you have a plan of selling that script, I will purchase that from you.

It’s not created by me; it’s a free script available for download at adminfusion. All I can say it works quite well, if only I could find some way of emailing me those backups automatically.

you can include that your cron job.

And email ( as attached file ). But the script needs to be created.
