High ranking in search engine

I am the owner of a site that doesn’t have AJAX, blogs or RSS. As a matter of fact, it is a static site. I make sure to update it whenever I get time. All the HTML coding is done manually. My site was optimized for quite a few keywords. I guess I want to remodel my site now. I would like to change its sitemap, navigation, structure, etc. However, I am apprehensive about doing so. I don’t want it to have a negative impact on my ranking. I want to retain my high ranking in search engines. Should I go ahead with it?

There are SEOs that can help you to that problem. If you have a high PR on your site, you should remain the domain name and the keywords of the site. It can also make your ranking stable if you don't change any of the sites meta content

My suggestion is don't do them all at one time, change this then few weeks ago change that, it will be safer.

Changing the content of the site and meta regularly will make some ranking problems, so don't update your static website often..

Just go ahead and make the changes. Rankings can go down temporarily but if keep adding fresh content and links to your site you will soon regain your old postilion.

As per me content is main part of website, so you need to update your content with quality one. Also I would like to suggest you to do forum posting and article marketing promotion for your website.

Hi,

If you want to increase more pages in your website than no issue and if you want to modify the old pages of the website than in this case you need to keep the URL same and modify the content of that page or if you are modifying the Page URL than redirect it through 301 redirection on that page who has the same information as previous one.

Getting high ranking in search engines you need to update your website's content regularly and also focus on accuracy of your website's content.do not use any unethical techniques to promote your website.

do make sure meta description,keywords in content done get missing .updating site wont impact negatively ,unless you cause a negative updation i mean if you remove meta tags ,or remove some keywords like that

If you are going to make changes in your site then go for it and use only original and quality content. It is right time to place your keyword properly; here don't think about any changes of your URL and Meta tags and Meta description.

I have encounter a quite similar problem like this one. They change all the metas in the site. Day the after I can't even see the in search results.

You can do proper manually SEO to get high PR and traffic and ranking in search engine.

Content is the heart of any website... I think you must change it right now. This will affect your ranking little bit...but in some time with proper SEO your ranking again will go high...!! It is not possible to change content at later stage...if you traffic is high, that might cause negative impact...so dot it right now...!!
