should i updare my website daily
my website had quite good number of visitors now the rate is decreasing and i m worried
could this be the reason that i dont update my site daily

You can update your site once a week..
Increse your off page Optimization.. like blogging, Social Book Marking, Artical writing and link exchange etc.

Apply other SEO methods for your site and be sure to maintain them. SEO takes continuous effort and time to have your site at the top of the search results.

Check whether you maintain the keyword density on the site.
I think that updating once a week is not enough. The more you update the better.

Continual updating means updating the feel and look of your website keeps your website up-to-date and interesting. Also web maintenance either on daily or weekly basis improve the number of visitors. Yes, it involves lots of work, but they have to be done. Therefore, its better to hire a professional company as per your needs. If your homepage doesnot provide info to your visitors they want, they will lose out interest and you will lose potential coustomers.

You are absolutely right about website maintenance and updating of websites. I am also in online business and looking to hire a professional website maintenance company. But I am little bit confuse about how its help to rank high in the search engine. Will any body help in that?

Website should be updated on regular basis in order to be crawled by google bots. Try to add atleast 1 new thing in a week.

It doesn't need to update it daily, once or twice a week will do. Just continue to do SEO on it & your traffic will increase.
