Hello,

Cloud computing is a the most used buzz word in web hosting industry nowadays. I'm curious what do use understand when someone says "Cloud Hosting". Do you thing of virtual machines or just about high availability, scalability and redundancy.

When I think about Cloud Computing I certainly thing more about high availability, scalability and redundancy. I can't wait to see what comes out of the future!

I found cloud hosting very efficient. Cloud hosting is instant, highly scalable and cost effective. Its best option when you cant easily manage your servers and want to save money. But some people says that its somehow costly than dedicated servers. Well i hope it gonna popular after some time.

One of the unique features about cloud computing is reducing the risk factor of any possible data loss – all storage is mirrored across multiple servers and server clusters. Generally, a cloud-hosted website is opearting on multiple connected servers. Instead of limited to a single server like what we have in traditional hosting services (dedicated/shared hosting), the website now has the access to multiple servers. Virtually, the processing power is unlimited as you can always add a new server and scale up.
