I am hosted for free. I have 5Gb of space with Cpanel and MySql support with unlimited databases.
All this without ads. Tell me now why should i go for paid hosting now ?
well i use 12gbfree.com (i like them)
and they seem to be pretty reliable
the only problem for me is the 20MB upload
limit on the site. but they are made by gator hosting
and we all know they are reliable so that is another reason
i fell that 12gbfree isn't a scam
I have had such bad experianced with free hosting that dont ask!
The very first days when I started off, I had to shift to a new free host almost every alternate day due to site crash and no help offered from the free web host provider, as usual, the free web host providers never help. They just start off the unprofessional service and leave you in despair!
Free Hosting sounds to un serious and they also don't offer enough space and b/w that a bigger website needs. And they can shut down anytime they want. I also had issues like this before which made me go for only paid hosting. I am currently hosted with Site5 and I am very happy with them
Well i think that with the increase in cheap hosting now there is a greater degree of scaming which has begun. So its better to check out each and every angle of the company and then only buy a hosting.
I use freehostia.com and I like them very much. The service over ther is excellent, and the speed is just amazing. I figgured, why use 10$ a year when I can get a hosting that gives me exactly the same for free?
I don't consider free hosting scams. I have never been scammed by any free host, and I have used a lot of them....
