What is dedicated VPS server?

Does anyone here have experience with dedicated VPS hosting services?
The thing is that I have found out that webintellects.com offered DEDICATED VPS hosting plans.

Have you ever used dedicated VPS hosting plans?

Can you tell me anything about such webhosting solution?

There is not such thing like "Dedicated VPS Hosting". Every Virtual Private Server is "dedicated" in terms of resources. However, unlike physical dedicated server the VPS could be easily scaled.

VPS is number of virtual machines on single physical machine. in it some portion of ram , processor and hard drive is alloted to you

Well, there is nothing called as "Dedicated VPS Hosting". Generally, all the Virtual Private Servers are "dedicated" when it comes to resources. Hope I answered your question.
