Default What webhost should I use?

I'm looking for a host that can host multiple domains, and that has reasonable space.. With decent uptime that's not too expensive.. Any suggestions? who do you use?

Yes, I am also possible interested in purchasing web hosting for a blog. I have heard good things about HostGator. Is there another host comparable to them that's cheaper?

Godaddys awesome and cheap, I was hosting three proxies on their mid level shared host and when I started using too many resources instead of kicking me they actually moved me to a new server and gave me 30 days to fix the problem or upgrade.

Check also HostingZoom. I have been with this web host for more than 2 years now. I am a happy customer though the rate is a bit higher than the normal rate.

Look into reviews of different hosts and go with the one which suits all your hosting requirements.

dreamhost is my personal preference, not sure why. they have a ridiculous deal right now-- i think you pay $10 a month for really great stuff... but you have to pay a year in advance to get the deal. it was worth it for me.

$10 per month for how much of web space? Could you be clear please?.I guess it's expensive when I compare it with indyahozting.com (my existing host)

Smile I use Glitterhost. It usually has the fastest speeds in the US. Speed = Income

I've registered over 20 domains with glitterhost.

I've never had a problem with them and their servers are fast.

Post RE:

I have registered multiple domains on HostGator; they give me best web hosting option. As for me, HostGator is cheaper than Godaddy. I would like advice you try it.

I use GoDaddy and I'm happy with their price and level of service. It's not the absolute cheapest, but it's very affordable for the quality you get. Don't forget, you do get what you pay for. Why skimp on a couple of bucks per month if that difference means having poor customer service and slow downloads?

There are many web hosting providers that offers multiple domain hosting, it depends on your website requirement. If you are hosting a personal website or a hobby site a shared hosting package will do. And if you are going to host multiple domains having huge data you can consider a VPS hosting as it will provide you much security and reliability. In vps you will get complete freedom to choose your choice of operating system, whereas in shared hosting you have to use the same operating system that is installed on that server.

Selection of web host is depend on different things like advertising, amount of web space,FTP access,File type and size limitations,Reliability and speed of access and if it is not free then price also matters.but the selection of a web host depend on your site requirement.I would recommend "Host Gator" for your Web Hosting because it's very cheap and reliable.
