You know, Linux platform is cheaper than windows and also more preferable. I suggest you to look at webhostgiant.com because it has nice comparison of these platforms. Besides, you can check its offers if you are in search of good company.

To my mind, Linux platform is much cheaper and the most preferable, so I suggest you to choose this one. As for company recommendation, have a look at ayksolutions.com - it is flexible enough to offer you the configuration you need.

It depends on the content you are going to host. If you choose windows web hosting, you will be able to run also applications based on Linux platform, but if you choose Linux, you will not have capability to run windows applications. As for recommendation, have a look at hostcats.com as it offers attractive Windows and Linux hosting solutions.

If you don't have much experience, use Linux.
Webhostingbuzz.com is helpful much in that. Not very high pricing and user-friendly support make this hosting attractive for a great deal of users.
