Think of using Solaris from GlobalTap.com. I have read many positive feedbacks about it and wanna start it.

It's common knowledge that Serverpoint.com can provide you with excellent hosting services, especially VPS hosting (Linux and Windows VPS). As to the operating system, I use Fedora.

Good choice! Globaltap.com offers Linux, Windows 2003/2008, Sun Solaris and FreeBSD VPS solutions. Furthermore, disk size can be increased without having to reboot. If you ask me, I use CentOS Linux.
