Default Webdesigner Hosting ASP/PHP

I'm looking for a web host for my web design site and as a platform for a small number of sites to be developed on. Cost is a major issue at this point just behind reliability.
I'm a little confused with regard to windows/unix platforms and whether I need to ensure they support php and asp. I see it as probable that I'll need both languages in some form in the sites I create.
Any advice is appreciated!

If you need to run ASP you definitely have to get a server under windows platform, because this software, being a product of microsoft, is not supported but linux servers.

I can recommend you visiting sibername.com - this company has good plans for hosting, among which is windows.net, supporting ASP.

I must tell you that windows hosting is something more expensive then linux, so be ready to pay more.

ASP is only possible to run under the windows platform. Windows also supports php.

I can recommend you to visit Webhostgiant.com - they provide both linux and windows hosting for really affordable price, especially considering their tima limited 50% price fall.

ASPnix.com shared web hosting is very flexible to suit the needs of home users, students, small and mid-size businesses, experienced site owners, webmasters and developers.

What control panel does ASPnix.com provide for their clients?
Where is their datacenter located?
Overall they seem reliable for me.
