We need to signature to show the links to some sites and it can help to increase the visits to the site. As to make a signature, you should go to your profile and set it up there.

Signature is must importance to show link.Its useful to get backlink. if you make signature you should go to your profile then go to edit signature and set it up there.

Not neccessarily. I have seen people using very useful links for everyone. They are not seeking mere traffic or backlinks.
