Default What is the best way to find affiliates?

Hello!
We've started our own affiliate program recently, and the question is what are the best places to advertise or promote our program? May be you can recommend some forums for affiliate seekers, apart from this one? And how can we get listed here?
Thank you

abestweb.com is a good website, I hope that will satisfy your needs.

I would recommend you to start a Google Adwords Campaign.

Thumbs up re:What is the best way to find affiliates

First of all, you need to find your closest competitors. And, don't say there is none. If you do not have competitors, then you do not have a market. Make sure your competitor is doing well, and, it is best if he is ahead of you. He has laid down the dirty work; it's up to you to reap the rewards.

Sounds sneaky? In a sense, it is. However, in order to get ahead, you sometimes need to cut corners. Just ask any of the multi-billionaire moguls in the world.

So how does the link colon strategy work? It's simple. After you have found your competitors website, you need to type in LINK (within Google search box) then :, at the beginning of the URL. For example: LINK: [http://www.EnterCompetitorNameHere.com].

Type this entire URL, link colon included, into the Google search. The search will pull up all the reverse links to the website and, voila, you have your new affiliate partners!

As an example lets use EzineArticles.com. In the Google search box we enter LINK: http://www.EzineArticles.com and at the time of writing this article Google returned over 1,410,000 links.

I think that the first thing you need to do is get your program listed in some affiliate programs driectory. there are a few of those, some better than others.
Second, it depends on your niche, like someone said before me , you'll need to research really good ....if you want to swim in the same pool, know who is swiming next to you.

High page ranked social bookmarking sites are also good starting point to promote your program.

It's tough to find customers but it's probably tougher to find affiliates. My suggestion is to find the sites where your customers are most likely to visit. Then, e-mail the owners and tell them about how they can sign up for your affiliate program.

Also, the affiliate program directories are a good place to start.

The best way is to explore your self through Google search techniques. I always apply this technique to learn and to explore new things.

Use social media outlets like facebook ,twitter, myspace ,linkedIn etc as a virtual "word of mouth" writing about your affiliate site and build a following. This will eventually lead in high traffic to your site.

Another thing you might want to consider is incenting your current affiliates to bring in new affiliate by earning a small pecentage of the future commissions earned by these referred partners. It's basically a pyramid setup but it's something we are trying with our top affiliates and our affiliate system can track fairy easily.
