Whats the best Affiliate Software?

Hi,

I'm thinking of running an affiliate program on a site of mine, but not sure whether to choose from Post Affiliate Pro of iDevAffiliate.

Which do you believe is the better software out of the two.

Both are listed and reviewed on AffiliateSeeking where I've given the review links.

I think that the fact that Affiliate Pro answered, you should go for them :-)

Thanks for the link... however, PAP3 is offered no more. We have new version for over a year - PAP4. Also, the information in that link is pretty old:
1) Customer Service:
Helpdesk Support, Live Support, Phone support, Forum - all 24/5 .
3) Upgrade:
depends on the license, but generally it is 6 months of free updates, "Lifetime update" feature for $100.
4) Virtuemart Integration:
Yes, we have the integration method with it, we also have the integration methods for over 60 integration cases (check our site - addons.qualityunit.com/PostAffiliatePro/integration-methods)

I have the good news for you - the free updates period has risen today from 6 months to 12 months... So now you get 12 months of free updates with each license.

I haven't really heard of any programs that aren't unethical- to each their own, though.

Post Affiliate Pro performs ok. Even though it's a pain to set up all the templates to change the frontend of the software, we are still using it and probably going to continue.

I run my own affiliate program using JAM. it's $250. You might want to check it out. They do have a free trial version till you attract 200 affiliates. I know idev is quite popular but I've had no problems using JAM. You could download the free version and see if it suits your needs

There is no best. It depends on your needs and some of these packages have certain features that could be critical to your strategy. Do your homework first
