Default writing content about keyword

I have noticed that for one of my keywords, it was about in the 51st position and after about 2 weeks, it has moved up to 34. This is without any work.

What I was wondering is if it is possible to do this:
move up higher by writing more content and articles on the specific keyword. Its about baking and it is something I love to do so I can write quite a lot about it.

But does the position depend on the number of articles or the quantity of information provided? Can you assume that if one article ranks in the 34th position, that if you add 10 more articles with the same keyword, it would move to the 2nd or 1st position?

thx for the assistance

Yes and no.

Sure, a site with a ton of great, keyword focused content will start to rise in the search results.

But, the content must be great too. For example, if somebody finds your listing in Google and clicks to visit your site, you want them to stay awhile. If the user clicks the "back" button in 2 seconds, Google will know they left your site immediately.

What you want is both, lots of keyword focused content pages AND great content that people (not the search engines) actually want to read.

A keyword-rich article that relates to what you sell, then give it away to other sites--for free. Believe it or not, this is one of the best ways to drive a steady stream of eager customers to your site.Keyword selection is everything and it's healthy and practical to revise strategic keyword SEO or PPC experts can offer a fresh perspective based on the search behavior trends they're studying.

Is there any required KW density for a specific article to be considered valid to any directory?
