My company is considering creating our own news website in order to get indexed on Google News. Does any have any experience of this and will it help SEO?

Currently, the normal searchers are not much aware about the changes that Google has done to serve the best to their users. To rank well in Google news, you can submit articles, press releases and if you could have also checked Latest updates section, you can rank there as well by participating in social networking and bookmarking sites like twitter and etc..

hi, If your news are latest and qualifies all the criteria required by Google you must have a chance to get listed in the Google News.
