Is Alexa Ranking important?

Let me know what Alexa rank is. If there were a number of its importance, what would you give up 10? If this is a very important site, so how do I increase the Alexa ranking? It would be nice if you give me the basic tool Alexa as well. And 'this has also contributed to the ranking of the site? Is there a specific process that I follow? Alexa is not reliable at all for some segments; the ranking system for measuring the traffic of websites is very controversial (and, in my opinion, subject to manipulation) and for a complete use you need the Alexa sidebar installed – how people do you know with Alexa sidebar installed?

Alexa is the rank where if your website has many visitor per day. The lower rank of alexa is high number of visitor.

Thinking about the alexa ranking is just a waste of time.. It is manipulated and can be improved by some coding. I have not tried this nor i give any importance to their toolbar. It only improves if the users have toolbar installed on their browsers.

Alexa rank isnt that important but I use one of the firefox addons because they usually have other good seo tools attached with the alexa rank tool.

Alexa rank is measured on the basios of that traffic,which comes from alexa toolbar installed browsers. The ranking system is not accurate,but some times it is considered by advertisers to know the traffic of your site.

Alexa consider as not important because it only show how many visitors you have everyday. However, If you have not rank your alexa, the PR of your site will not be rank also.

Alexa ranking is based on the number of people who go to your site who have the Alexa toolbar installed on their computer. This heavily favors webmasters and people already concerned with website statistical data. I have heard of cases when a site's Alexa ranking jumped significantly, yet the website's reporting tools reflected no such jump in traffic.

Alexa is just a tool, which depends on amount of traffic towards site. Its not an important tool or nothing to do with ranking.

Alexa rank is so much important. Because if you don't track how much visitor you are geting after doing SEO then what is the use of doing SEO. So you must watch your alexa rank. Now if you get good business with good alexa then you can say you are getting good number of related visitors. So its really important.
