How important and effective in driving traffic is commenting on blogs?

it depends, some blogs can actually give you direct traffic, but of course, more important is the link value, so check first to see if they give you a direct link

Thats good advice and i think i will do something about that. Maybe i need to do something different to boast my traffic everyday.

Thanks marketraisecorp. Yes, you are right about those essential tips in writing blog posts. But, correct me if I'm wrong, those are actually when you're the one posting on a blog or you're the blogger.

What about when you're just a visitor on a certain blog and you want to comment on it? Nowadays, no matter how you make your comment a well-thought or well-researched one, bloggers still think that you're just spamming. Any tips for the commenter?
