Is SERP very essential?

I am a new website owner in this forum. As I am new to an online business, I am unable to remember all the terms used. I also find it difficult to remember the importance or the process of many services. This time I want to gain information about SERP. I found out its full form; it is the search engine result page. Is it the page that shows up after users search their keywords? How does it help my site? Do I have to get my online store on this page? Is there any way?

Full form of SERP is search engine ranking position and it is very important for the site. If your site comes at 1 page and in top 3 positions of top search engines then it will generate lots of traffic for you. Suppose if you have any shopping site then it will result in huge income for you. So it is very important.

SERP play important role in search engine marketing strategy. If you Search in Google a keyword relevant to your website keyword you should have top position on Search engine result page.Backlinks play important role in seo

Of course, SERP is the end result of all your hard work, without SERP, it means there is no result, so no one will find you.
