I know that all of us make mistakes when we just start out with SEO and SEM. I have made my share of mistakes. When I started out with marketing, I was tagged a spammer by one of the most popular forums. I guess I ended up spamming unknowingly. Since then I have come a long way. I have become more careful than ever about blog commenting, including links in forums, etc. So one of the biggest mistakes I did was spamming. Beware! If you can’t leave sensible comments or write thoughtful posts, don’t do it at all.

Now you know! Lol.. Spamming is just a waste of your time. Try to do quality comments on every blogs and forums so that your comment will be approved and you will not flagged for spamming.

All of us SEO had been became spammers for some time... we create links without knowing we were spamming at all.

I try not to spam as I also have some negative experience with spamming. Let's be fair towards each other.

Forum backlinks are good, but it is easy to get flagged as spammer! I have many my dynamic IP's banned on many forums and right now I am not doing forum or blog posting, because links are deleted really fast and Google don't linke decrease in your backlinks. So play safe and choose a places where your links will not get deleted really fast

Yes you have mentioned a good point because spams are nowadays never working and although they were among the black hat SEO methods workable some years ago, but nowadays Google and the other search engines are carefully examining the procedures people are using and following when it comes to building links and contents for their sites.

yes we always learn from mistakes, at the starting, in even forum posting, more of us don't read the forum roles, and they keep posting, and always violate the roles of the forum. that create a big problem for them, and their account banned very soon, so it is more better to have old accounts, not to create new accounts...

Thats really a good point you have shared. We all learn something from our mistakes which we make during any work. I think its not a good way to do spam when you are doing something good for improving. Its not that good thing which we should do while doing seo.
