How many times we can use this Heading tags in one web page?
Hello friends,
I want to know about heading tags. Actually i mostly used 3 times heading tag but don't know its maximum limit. Please tell me "How many times i can use h tag in a single web page?

as far as I know, you can only use H1 tags once, in a web page as well as the H2 tags... but you can use them at the same on a web page... so meaning you can have two H tags in a web page.

Hi,
I absolutely agree with SexyTracey. It would be better if u use once <h1> tag in a web page.

The usage of heading tags is not limited, but some of social bookmarking websites requires only three tags.

Using heading tags as a keyword is unlimited. It depends on the website on how many tags are they gonna use.

As i m not much aware of on-site optimization, as said by khanna you can use 3 heading tags h1 h2 & h3 but i have seen some website use more then 3 tags.

Title + H1 tag are most important component of On page SEO. I think H tag used just only one time and also H2 tag.

there is no limit you can use all the tag H1 - H6 one time for one page
it all depends on the how many keyword you are going to highlight

For H1 you can use this tag only one time in a single page, and for others (H2 - H4 ) you can repeat.

Heading tags are always helpful for top 10 ranking and it is in on-page.

I agree with above responses. One is enough. Spiders want to crawl your site to see what its all about..if you have 20 title tags its not really helpful

You will confuse SE spiders by having too many title tags and your site will get flagged as keyword spammer.

you can use h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6 only one time not use more than 1 time.
