Default Links for Article submission

I have a couple of keywords that are stuck in the middle of the 1st page of Google. I have done my article submissions, with the keywords on them. This would cause them to move to the top of the list for about a week, and then they would slip back into position. I have been observing this for sometime now. I don’t know why this is happening and can’t figure a way out to stop it? Has anyone else faced this phenomenon before? Do you have any suggestions I can use? I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

HI,

SEO is not like a one time work. to stuck with high position you have to fight against your lowers. because lowers always take more efforts until they get high position. so you have to hang on with seo practice. then only you will stuck with no1. or similar.

Maybe you submit it to no follow article directories?.. I would suggest that search for a do-follow and quality article directories then submit on it.. After your articles has been approved get the approved url and do a social bookmarking on it so that it will be index by the search engine..

The explanation could be that since the links you would add to your homepage are in most cases temporary, because the article links are in most cases like this and after a while they may disappear on the net, so the rankings of your website may return to their previous places. The only option could be to gain links from some other quality resources like the high PR directories.

sometimes, rankings does change. expect that your competition is also working to get better position.
like what bermuda said, sometimes articles disappear so if that happens, your links will also gone.

Yes I am completely agree with you as, just due to this, all the links gone and this hampers the results. That is why it is important to write articles with the content which is easy to understand and unique, and does grabs the attention of all the people who are reading it.

I think this is mainly because your competitors are also doing their optimization besides there is really no permanent rank in SERP's. Do a lot of link building.

You must do your best, so that your competitors don't become higher than you.
