Default Search volumes per keyword

The long tail keywords are always great not only due to their traffic generating potentials but also simply because they are easier to rank rather than the main terms. In some cases especially talking about the business related and competitive niches selection of the long tail keywords could be very cool and effective because by adding some links usually the traffic shares would be gained.

Yes long tail keywords are easily to rank up but If you rank up a Main keyword it was better because it gives more traffics.

I don't think that long keywords give more traffic. If we take an average person who seeks online, she or he is too lazy to type a long word.

There is value in long tailed keywords however you have to be careful there is going to be some people out there actually searching for what you are optimising on. I use market samuri to look for longer tailed keywords as quite often there isn't much competition if you optimise well.
