Hello to everyone. I have a brand new site and i was wandering how can i promote it in Google or yahoo (how can i gain PR)?

Also i wanted to ask about a offer i received yesterday by one of my link partners. He mentioned something about a link

exchange site rank1.info ?has anyone heard of it, is it good, and will it help me in some way? I'm new to these things and i

hope I'll get your advice.

Good keyword research tools can help you - semrush for example. Anyway you have to try different ones and choose your own.

Well, you have asked a really wide question and it cannot be answered at once by one sentence. I would suggest you to do some researches yourself on the Web about SEO and its types and ways of performance. After you got some basis I think we will be able to give yo more relevant advices, fine?

And what about link exchange - it is one of the most popular SEO method which helps you to be easy crawled by search engines, traffic increasing and PR upgrading. Sometimes ppl sale links, but its indeed different story

There Are lots of ways to promote your website like posting directory, articles, social bookmarking, forum posting, blog Posting, link building even though social networking sites like twitter, facebook, myspace, etc. This will also help to increase the page ranking of your site. Or you can hire a SEO to do all this task for you.

Now days Search Engine will give least priority for Link Exchange. Updates your websites daily and increase the back links.

Do neat on page optimization like
image tag optimization, hyperlink optimization, content optimization, navaigation, integrate blog in websites.

And do off page optimization like
Article submission
Press release
directory submission
forum posting
Blog Commenting
Classified Submission.

By Doing this you will give get Google PR

IF you want to increase traffic to your site you have to Do Link Exchange and build Quality link building through Press release , Social Bookmarking, Blog Posting, Article Submission , Classifieds , Forums..

if you have a new website then search about on-page optimization. this is important because without proper optimization Google bot(crawler) will not be able to index your website properly. sometimes website starts to showing on the first page of SERP's if the are professionally on-page optimized.

Yes dear its a good way to exchange Link with other website. If it has a good PR in search engine then go for it. Exchanging links with high PR websites will give you quality traffic and it will increase your rank in search engine.

For a new website you should perform SEO activities onpage and offpage. First of all select the keywords then optimize your keywords by placing them in page title, page header, Meta tags, content and alt tag. Then in offpage perform blog commenting, forum posting, bookmarking on social networks, writing blog post, article and directory submission, email marketing and video marketing.

Link building, forum posting, article writing, blog commenting, etc can help you promote your site. You can also use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

1. after you feel your website should be promoted (if it is a blog see to it that you have atleast 20 articles) you can submit your url to yahoo, bing and Google
2. Book mark each of your articles in Digg, delicious, Reddit
3. Stumble your articles (this will give you sudden traffic)
4. rephrase one of your best article and submit it to ezine
5. If you have good and unique set of contents do a Guest posting which falls in your niche
6. Comment on others do follow blogs
7. Submit your website to various free directories
8. Try to get into DMOZ and Yahoo directory (It may take a couple of months to get into such directories)
9. Join in twitter and facebook and various yahoo groups and participate and always leave a trace of your website
10. Participate actively in yahoo answers and answer questions which falls under your catagory and provide a backlink to your website

Do this for few months and you can expect some serious traffic...

u can promote your site by using off page seo or on page seo....

off line seo is most imprtant can be done by posting to forums or bookmarking on social networking websites or link exchange.....

One way backlinks are going to be required in most cases and based on your terms the numbers may vary. If your website is very new and you would like to have some fast traffic, check out the Google AdWords.
