Default Article SEO and copywrite

How do you maintain a balance between copywrite and article SEO?

We know that it is needed to post articles and for link building purposes. But are we always creating the article ourselves? If we do borrow from others, isn’t that akin to copying? Where is the balance??

I get your point. If you are creating your own articles from scratch, then you will not have any problem about copyrighting (BTW, it's copyright, not copywrite). However, problem arises when we are borrowing from others. If this is the case, in order not to be sued for plagiarism, it is good to revise it and then DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE A REFERENCE TO THE ORIGINAL. It can be a link to the original webpage where you obtained the content, or a simple mention of the website if they are already an authoritative website (like Wikipedia for example).

I agree with dooms that if it is a copied version of the original or even if it is abridged form we should mention the source from where it has been obtained .

I see no problem as I always write article myself to be on the safe side. You may say it is difficult but you know that you will never have problems.
