What can be done to remove some negative SEO?

When people search me up, there is a particular site which is bad mouthing my name and that is what reflects first in search results. I want to do SEO in such a way that when people search my name, that website doesn’t appear in the first 30 results. The thing I want is to push it down badly.

What can I do in this scenario? Are there any particular strategies that I can follow in order to clear that result from showing when my name is searched? What do I have to do in order to push down that website?

Just to concentrate more one SEO and do it more effeciantly. You should analyze all the work you have been doing and to choose several ways to succeed. From my point of view you should concentrate on choosing the best keywords and link building.

Try to get high quality back link and content rich keyword.

I'm not sure if there exists a strategy to get such a site not to appear in front .At best you can do SEO in a way so that your site appears before this one Also try to defy the bad mouthing by improving your site .If all this still doesn't help you may contact google and report abuse if so the case be .
