Links on Personal Blog

Hey,

I have a really simple question regarding my travel related website.

I also have a blog on the same domain with a few interesting and unique articles.

My questions are
Is a blog with good content going to help with SERP?
How many links should one article have for the main domain? Is more than one harmful?
What should be promoted Main page or other important pages inside?

1. Unique and fresh content definitely helps.
2. Are you saying IBL or OBL?
3. You should keep a balance among homepage links and deep links, both are great if they come from valuable places.

The idea is that by writing some high quality and fresh contents, since a lot of people might find your posts and blogs, so traffic would be gained. Also it has been seen that many times the quality posts would bring in free one way links from other sources and this means increase in rankings. About your second question, if your inner pages are important and you want them to get found on the net, adding links to them can be useful.

No.. You can have atleast 2 to 3 links...

Well, you can promote both.. the main and other important pages...

of course not... you should get a lot of backlink from authorities sites to increase your SERP...

yes blogs with new fresh content will help u lot..
in Article you can put 2 links.. not 4 -5 links..
and you have to make balance between home page and sub domain pages as home page has some more wattage...
