Any clues?

Hello everyone,

I have considerable SEO experience. I somehow tried to retain my site in the top 3 G for the last 6 months. Sadly, following the latest G changes, my site has plummeted to 8. I just don’t seem to understand the reason behind this. I haven’t a clue whatsoever. I haven’t resorted to any black hat strategies, neither have I changed my site. I am also building links gradually. What is it that G would like about websites? Any ideas? Any clues? Any guidance in this matter is appreciated. Please come ahead with your ideas and suggestions.

You should continue to do all the same work that you have been doing. Try articles writing, social bookmarking, may be some unsual ways to promote and to have more natural links and traffic.

There might be the reason related with content in your website is not being searched now. You should continue with backlinks and also may use social book marking as well.

Just keep working hard.Google loves relevancy. Therefore concentrate on linking your site to the relevant sources.

Have you been upgrading your content regularly .If not this could be a main reason for such a problem .Besides try some off page optimization techniques that you have not adopted till now .

It usually happens when Google is having some updates. Also, your competitors might have anticipated these changes and have done something to cope up with the updates effectively. I suggest that you try to build more strong and quality backlinks, monitor the links in your link partners, and study more about the recent trends in Google optimization.

I guess that I would have to ask what change are you referring too? The only change that I have heard about was the need for speed.

Try to update your contents regularly with your targeted keywords in them. And continue to do all your bakclinks works with full force since you might have got more competitors. Analyze your competitors sites and see their updates and try to get idea out it to bring back your rank.

Update the content regularly and try to get high pr back link for high rank in search engines.

Since your website is still on the first page of Google, so this means your strategies have been good, although some fluctuations have happened. It is possible that the links of your competitors might be more or better than yours but by continuing to add links and contents, in the future the ranks should come back. Many times the Google updates are about some changes in the way it finds and ranks web links.
