Default Keywords?

There is a website I have and with some specific keywords in mind I wish to promote it on Google. Whenever someone will search for those particular keywords I want to come up in the top 10 results listings rank.

In order to achieve this, should I try to go for On-Page or Off-Page SEO? Incase the option to choose is Off-Page SEO when exactly should it be used in order to ensure that Google lists my website in the top ten rankings? Can anyone help me out with this query? keywords?

In my view you need to use both on page and off page optimization. Working on keywords is important but forum posting, blog commenting -backlinking is also important ,so both should go hand in hand .

You need both for sure. Choose the right keywords and try to promote them suing link building, articles writing or comments.

Hey there,

I believe the people do not really search just for keywords - they search ideas, solutions to problems, and answers. Believe it or not, research has shown that people searching for ideas, solutions to problems and answers tend to spend more money than people who type in something simple. So, with this information in mind, how valuable is it to your business to focus more on solutions rather than keywords.

Therefore go for such phrase rather than keywords.

A keyword is a search term that is relevant to a website's line of products andor services, e.g. bariatrician for a weight loss surgeon's website. If you want to rank for a certain keywords it is always good to place some of them in your title tag. A Title tag represents the whole flavor & content of your website. Keywords is including some of your keywords will give you some advantage in Google’s relevancy algorithm.

Ansel from your post I can see that you already have plans for on page optimization since you wish to work on keywords etc .But I would suggest that you simultaneously work on off page optimization as well .That will inded boost the PR of your site .
