How does SEO on a site work

I need to know something. I hope you guys will be able to help me.
How does SEO work on a website? Does it work globally or on the basis of a country? As in, does it work on a single market basis? For instance- a US site will only SEO well for the US market or will it catch hold of various markets simultaneously? In case, SEO works mainly on a single market basis, is there a lucrative way to make it multi market? Also, how can you ascertain whether a site is a US site or UK site?

For SEOing a US website for UK market you need to do some alternative SEO work also, for google.co.uk and other SE for that specific region.

Well, these days, most of the business man who have local business focus on marketing in their local area and that fetches good and quick results.

The reason why this works so effectively is that many consumers would love to shop locally first. If they can get the same value for the same pricing then they want to do what they can to help their local businesses thrive. Keep that in mind when you establish prices too. If your product costs more than what others out there offer that is very similar you can be passed over.

And yes, I do agree that it is much better start with your on-page SEO campaign and focus on your local consumers. that's the best variant for you.
There are indeed diff types of SEO which are devoted to local business. We call it - local business SEO. Google will tell you more about it (hint)

SEO, is a method to get more traffic and orders from your website. It doesn't methion about how you site works.

I thinks you can start seo work with off page seo,
like Article submission, directory submission, blog submission, social media optimization, social bookmarking etc..

SEO is a technique that works globally and according to me SEO techniques does not work for a specific region as in it works on a global basis .

SEO can be off page and on page both type of optimization is important and it ll globally ..

i think , you can use your targeted region name in your keywords and titles so it will be beneficial to you...

Its depends on two things, first keywords selection , Normally its happened that people how wants to do SEO for some specific area use area name in keyword, like Web Designer UK. Also if you done SEO for.com then you have to do some more work for .co.uk. And for that you have to look new links from .co.uk.

the best seo is to analyze websites which already rank well on keyword which you hit. find out what they have and you dont and do little more then them and that is all philosophy
