You should take care not to employ the same keywords too many times, as oheon states above 5-7% is OK. Any more and you may be classed as a keyword spammer and penalised.

Basically take the number of keywords on the page, divide by total number of words on page then multiple by 100. This is your keyword density.

Yes, keyword density is upto 2 to 5% and there are many tools that can be helpful for you to know the density of keywords.

2-5% is still good IMO. Avoid keyword stuffing since this is considered black hat by search engines.
