Crawlers are unable to read images and the flash part of your web page but these images or flash is required to influence the visitors. Thus Optimize this images with suitable contents using Alt tags which reflects your proper business.

Hi,
Images are very important because they will make your web pages look better and more attractive. There are many of search engine that don't recognize images. There are many tools are also available for that. Some search engine also track only hyperlink and alt tags.
Thanks

Images Optimization Involves using the "Alt" attribute when adding images to your web site. Basically Google Crawlers cannot read images, so you add the "Alt" attribute to tell these crawlers what it is. What you place here also is what is shown in the event the image doesn't load.

properly optimizing images involves using the "Alt" attribute when adding images to your site. What you place here also is what is shown in the event the image doesn't load (say someone is using a web browser that is not compatible for some reason).

Image optimization is all about adding image to alt tags. Image can be an effective SEO source. If a site contain too many images, one can add alt tags in images using keywords in alt tags. Adding alt tags in images is like showing search engine bots the name of image.

Well, since almost everyone here stated about using the ALT attribute, then all I can add is to make sure that the filenames of the images are also descriptive. Also, DO NOT STUFF KEYWORDS IN YOUR ALT ATTRIBUTE! That's all.

Many websites are receiving some decent traffic shares simply via their images getting found by people using the search engines like Google. Usually, using the Alt+Title tags or attributes for the images could be useful because this way yo would be increasing the chances of them getting found when people search some image portals to find relevant graphics.

The <img alt> attribute defines an alternative text for an image when the user uses a text browser or when the user has turned off the display of images in the web browser application. Microsoft's Internet Explorer displays the alternative text if the user puts the cursor over the graphic. This chapter tries to find out if it makes sense to include the search term in the
<img alt> attributes to improve your rankings.

Image optimization is using the most compressed (smallest file size) yet visually acceptable image in the proper file format for the specific role of the image. There are two immediately prevalent reasons for image optimization: download time and bandwidth used.

Image optimization is a technique to make a image readable. For this purpose ALT tag is quite suitable, with ALT tag you can describe the images for spicily crawler. Some time some browsers can not upload images because of some technicals problem. If your image is not optimize, then you will see a blank space instead of image.

Hi Friend,
As far as I know Image Optimizer lets you easily optimize your gifs, animated gifs, jpgs, and pngs, so they load as fast as possible on your site.
Thanks,
James
