Is it really true that Google doesn't give value to PR0 websites?

On google, I found that sometimes it includes PR0 websites in search engine result for some keywords. I am sure not only me, all others also found this fact sometimes. So the question is what is our main motto - to get higher PR or to be in top 10 result of google. Since it is a known fact(I don't know whether I should call it a fact or not) that Google doesn't give much value to PR0 websites or PR0 webpages of any website than those websites of higher PR. So please help me to find out answer of this question. You can also share your experiences if you felt same when searching on google.

In my opinion you can reach first page of Google in no time for weaker keywords. For stronger keywords, you have to create many backlinks. If you have PR4 website but is in 10th page, then whats the use? you won't get traffic.

I am giving you an example. Search on google with a keyword "internet marketing" which is not a weaker keyword as far as I know. In top 5 result of Google, you'll find a website with domain name "internetmarketing" but when you'll check PR of that site, it is n/a. So the question here is if Google don't give any value to PR0 website when showing search result then how a site of PR n/a can come in top 5 result of Google. Also, if PR of that is n/a that means the site has not any link popularity which means no off page optimization has been done or very little has been done. So the other question is can a website reach in top 10 result with the help of on page optimization only and not doing any off page optimization? Your answers and experiences are most welcomed, so please share it.

Of course not, a lot of PR0 websites ranks better than high PR sites and this proves that PR doesn't matter a lot.

I don't think so that Google doesn't give value to PRO sites. Because main work is to give the unique and innovative sites the PR how can we say that google is aware of the PRO sites.

The ultimate target is to get traffic and secure 1st place in the google.So if you want to secure 1st place then you have to get backlink from high PR sites.

PR does not matter. Try to get content link. It is much more valuable than a link from resource page having PR-5 in home page.

Why this concern with PR? I saw low PR websites ranking higher than high PR ones, for the same keywords. In facts, that is the goal, isn't that?

PR has little to do with your ranking in google. That's why you find so many PR0 sites rank better than PR 5 sites.

What you shall focus on is getting backlinks, getting quality backlinks from relevant authority sites.
