Is Google Buzz Useful?
Well friends I have something here, I have read in many places that google buzz is very helpful in SEO. People say that they will help in indexing your website very fast. I've checked the indexed pages in google by {site:google.com/buzz/}
But when you check the pages that are indexed the links in those pages are no-follow, I have found that it is totally useless other than it will drive some traffic to your site. What are your thoughts???
Thanks in advance,

I haven't used Buzz as marketing technique and I also don't know how but if there is some advantages from Buzz, I would surely like to hear them from members in here.
Thanks

For Search Engine Optimizers, the two interesting aspects of Google Buzz are:
1. The 'implicit' priority that Google Buzz will get on the Google Search Engine
2. The 'auto-following' - you can leverage Gmail to grow your social network more rapidly (compared with Twitter) since Buzz has a built-in viral feature by auto-following contacts
For the past few years, Google has moving towards a trend know as 'real-time' or 'blended' search. On your search result page you won't only see organic (free results) and sponsored ads but also images, video, Twitter, MySpace and news posts (all as it happens). The opportunities for SEO here are:
1. Google may interpret links from these posts to your website as having some marginal impact on your PageRank.
2. People may read your tweets, news posts and thereby directly o to your website
3. The posts themselves may show up on Google searches and give you some temporary visibility for free and for your target keywords.
Thanks.

I am not using google buzz to promote my site, because IMO, others cannot see your post in buzz unless they are your friends in gtalk..

I have not used Google Buzz yet. And have not heard anything good about it either. Not sure if Google did a great job on this social media venue.

Google Buzz is a social networking and messaging tool from Google, designed to integrate into the company's web-based email program Gmail. It is also a good marketing technique and can get huge traffic but its not much popular like Twitter and other social sites.

I tried Google buzz some time ago, but did not see any results from it. I added friends and subscribers, but did not get so much traffic I get from twitter.

Google Buzz is still quite new so there are not so many people using it.
Hopefully we will find out something useful soon!

I think your friends can see your updates when you give them permission to see it.

Google Buzz is so difficult to use! I have it in my gmail accounts (as do everyone else who has a gmail account) and I hate that it's there by default.

Google buzz is no more effective.
If you want to cache your site then it can be useful but no more extra benefits of that in marketing strategy and it is less use in US and UK and more use in Asian countries.
