Benifit of Dmoz Listing to boost site's PR

friends in last month I got listing in Dmoz so anybody can tell me that it helps to boost my PR and backlinks in next update of Google or not.

i think it could get you more traffics,but the pr,i think only google know it.

Dmoz is very good but the thing is that its not so easy getting listed in it and if it is done then it can be beneficial for boosting your site. But PR is used to view the page importance of a web page and it updates in every three month. So its not a thing where one can gain PR of the site when it listed in dmoz but at least it can drive some traffic to the site which will be helpful for drive some more visitors to the site as well.

DMOZ is free ODP project to get listed here.you need to be more then just a web blog,be unique is only one step the other is active and updates content

It's one of the two best links to have on the internet as far as directories go (with the paid Yahoo Directory being the other).

You are, in most niche's, sharing a PR 4 link with about 10-15 outgoing links and it is extremely high authority.

its very difficult to get listed in DMOZ and it is very useful in the SEO point of view, will boost your site, and yes, helps in increasing your PR

Well, I think that you will be given some PR juice from DMOZ, because almost all of the pages of DMOZ have PR. It's quite difficult to be listed in DMOZ, so congratulations to you..

It will help you a lot because some search engines take results from that directory but as to the PR its one more PR0 link not more

I once submitted few websites but they never approved them so even if there is benefit submitting and getting listed in dmoz, I never waste my time on them.

Cool you got listed, it's not that easy to get listed on DMOZ. Anyways, yes it can help somehow but don't just depend on it. There's a lot of ways to do in order to be seen by Google.
