What is the scope of optimizing the flash websites?

Google has started indexing and crawling into the flash content, but i don't think it is a great deal. There are still many limitations to flash sites including server loading time. Being an SEO, just by creating backlinks for the site may help only to an extend. please share your views.

Search engines dislike Flash Web sites not because of their artistic qualities but because Flash movies are too complex for a spider to understand. Spiders cannot index a Flash movie directly, as they do with a plain page of text. Spiders index filenames, but not the contents inside. Being an SEO target the most important part of a site which is the content, because this can give you the chance in getting the rank in search engines.
