Number of Keywords

How many keywords would you suggest to do SEO on for a new site? I have a hard time focusing on keywords mainly because I don't know how many I should use.

Well it depends on your product lines or services, maybe its a good idea if you will come up with a list containing each of your major product lines or services and brainstorm each and then come up with as many keywords as you can relating to each category.

first work those keywords who has low competition after getting rank then work on Top keywords. Quantity of keywords its depends upon your choice how much you can handle ranked.

I think we suggest 3 or 4 keyword. But please any one tell me if one keyword have 1 lakh competition and on in other word 50,000 competition so what keyword suggest?

it now about the number of keywords, it more depends on number of searches got from keywords that you target into,if you new try to target keywords with low competitions first and imrpove

30 characters only Google can display..so limit your keyword list is best...meet again.
