PageRank is a link analysis algorithm, used by the Google Internet search engine that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, and toolbar page rank is a small program where you can find out the computation and analysis of a site page rank.

Uh...what toolbar? There are a lot of toolbars that show pagerank. And they access Google's data centers to get the pagerank of the site you're on. So, obviously the toolbar should be accurate, but in that case they're the same.

Pagerank is the one google actually use,probably quiter volatile and resonable precision.
Toolbar pagerank is the one you can see,updated MUCH less frequently and only shown to one significant decimal place.

PageRank is actually a numeric value that shows the importance of a page on the web as seen by Google. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. Therefore, the more votes, the more important the page must be. It seems like Google calculates a page's importance from the votes cast for it.

The Toolbars that show the Page Rank get their data from Google as well. However, they are not always completely accurate since they are not updated as constantly.

Yes there is some difference between the page rank and tool bar page rank. But the importance of the both are same and equal.
