Default Tips for getting a site indexed quickly

What have you found to be helpful in getting a site indexed quickly by the search engines? What has worked best for me is to have a lot of content pages on the site and then then link to the site from an existing blog. I also like to put the most recent blog entry on the first page of the site so the front page stays fresh.

Send a Sitemap to Google so it could get indexed, and on top of that, try link exchanging with relevant websites - so that when google bot crawls their website - it will come across yours aswell, and index it.

Anymore you really don't have to do much to get your site indexed quickly by Google. I had a domain that I installed Wordpress on and didn't touch for a few days while I decided what to do with it, and after 4 days it was indexed.

I just get as many backlinks as possible and usually submit a few articles to digg and places like that where the google bot goes a fair bit so increasing chances of it spotting your link especially if the users love your content

I have heard writing articles works really well too. Bum marketing method shows you how you can do that and get really good at it.
