Promoting website without SEO

Say “web promotions” and what comes to mind? We line up the usual suspects. There’s search

engine optimization. Search engine marketing. Social media blitzing. PR submissions. Oh, and

everyone’s favorite but wouldn’t like to admit- black hat attacks.

Traditional webmarketing can be costly, particularly SEM whereby you bleed rivers per click.

The more lucrative your industry, the higher the cost for SEM. I used to run forex promotions

sites and it cost me $1000 a month to blitz on adwords. The opposite end of the spectrum

consists of self help sites; these cost me only $100 a month to promote.

SEO, SEM, blackhat- these aren’t the only way to promote websites. The penny pinching

webmaster can go offline to promote his products and services. Not only is this is sure to

drive real traffic, it can provide lasting residual results and at sheerly lower costs. The

following methods I’ve tried- and still use. They work and afford highly efficient means of

attracting eyeballs.
1.Hand out Apparel Branded With Your URL.
2.Let Your Cars Talk.
3.The Classifieds Still Work.
4.Tap Opinion Leader Buzz Marketing.

i dont think without optimization your website will go so far in ranking

I too think its not so possible to rank well in SERPs without proper optimization of your site though there are many methods like PPC but its very costly.

Website optimization is a good process for making popularity of the site and seo is such great process and its good for your site.

I do very few SEO on my page. I focus on my content and what my visitor wants. original and fresh content is what my site is all about.

my visitors do SEO for me. they link to me and thats it. google finds me.

I understand that my pr will be more higher than what it is right now if I do SEO.

what I mean is ON-page SEO really works.

That would work great provided you aim at the local market, whereas if the targeted region is different, doing offline promotion would be close to impossible

Promoting your website without SEO, I don't think your site will become popular and will rank in search engines, SEO can help a lot in your website, it will give more traffic to your website and will rank in search engine, SEO can help a lot and big factor in your website..

I think it won't hurt to do some off line promotion thing, but you could still forcus on the SEO.

Your website best describe your business. If your website is in the front of search results, web users will be able to see your website. The chance is that they will reach you and give you good business.

SEO is used for the purpose of easier identify the website, make potential customers easier access to your website and products, increase website and products exposure rate, thereby enhance the sales of your products.

SEO is one of the cheapest and most effective ways to get potential customers.

Getting ranking and promoting your website is two different things. FYI, only 20% of global expenditure of Internet marketing and promotion is done on SEO, and rest 80% is done on PPC.

yes, to get noticed by visitors you need to optimize your website properly also you need fresh and unique content on your site other wise doing SEO can't help you in it. If the content is duplicate search engines will not show the results for any query.

Maybe, u can still give some love to thsoe non-seo stuff, but SEO should be your priority!

It won't be bad to have more options to promote ur site!
