well, squidoo is a site about sharing knowledge. You can create free pages on squidoo which is also known as Lens. creating lens show how much you know about your niche. The real benefit of it is that you can promote your sites by pointing links to your own sites from it. In very less time squidoo has become a powerful platform to promote your website. It’s a killer combo that will attract both customers and better search engine rankings.

there aren't as many squidoo pages as you might think if you have a niche site but chances are you can get a couple related and somewhat related lenses...and see if you can add your links there.

I was not able to work with squidoo now, but as far as I know it is great in sharing information.

Squidoo is great, good to share information and to build backlinks. But, one thing i really want to know that how to get traffic to our created lens. Does anyone have tips on it?

squidoo is quite good but many sites banned squidoo on bookmarking submission., i don't have an idea how to monetize from it but it can be a source of good traffic.,

Do we need to update squidoo lens regularly, as i heard that if not update rank is going down and down.

Yes angelina, you are absolutely right. One needs to fresh up the created lens. The real benefit of freshening the lenses is that search engines will visit your lens for new content and again and again your lens will be visited by robots and you will get more benefit from search engines.

Every squidoo lens you create need to fresh-up after few days. It shows the message on your dashboard. As i have mentioned before search engines will crawl those pages again and again if they found updates on it. It will benefit your site.

Squidoo is good for the links and sales. first register on squidoo and then create your squidoo lens and regular update them.
