Just do On Page and Off page SEO ... but the first most important of course should be on page SEO like your web pages optimization - keyword, design, meta tag, and so on.

Then you can continue with off page SEO - link building including blog/article submission, forum posting, social bookmarking, directory listing, social networking, and marketing too

Search engine optimization is one of the best ways to promote your website online. There are two parts of optimizing your site, the first part is on-page optimization and the second part is off-page optimization.

On-page optimization can be done after you have the keywords phrase for your website. In on-page optimization, you need to put the keywords phrase in the title tags attribute, in the meta description and in meta keywords. You also need to have keyword phrase in the content of your web page.

Keyword phrase should also be in H1 tags, in bold tags, and in anchor tags. It will be helpful if the URL of the page will contain the keyword phrase. For static pages, you can name your file using your keyword phrase, for CMS that support search engine friendly URL you can use the alias. Apache module mod_rewrite can be done to have keyword phrase of the page if you are using Apache web server.

Well, I would like to say I come to realize that SEO is not a white or black world. There is no definitely correct measure or standard which would apply in all situations. It happens a lot when some people found some method works well for them but others regards as crap or completely a waste of money and effort. It’s all about degree -which means do what and to what degree it should has been done, and have control of what you are doing-which means you know clearly what results you could expect and ratio of the cost and return is acceptable. All of the se need a lot of work, patience, experience (some you could get from others’ sharing and some you must to experience by yourself) and appropriate judgments. If you could have a comprehensive and thorough control of all the intricate and changing factors related to SEO, you have a good chance to be successful in the field.
